Job summary

Interlachen Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Pastry Cook/Baker to join our Pastry Department. You will bake and decorate pastries for parties, events, and banquets, while incorporating seasonal ingredients into daily production.

Join a fast-paced, mentorship-driven kitchen culture focused on quality and growth. Must be 18+, with 2+ years of pastry experience and strong food safety knowledge. Seasonal Oct–Jan with benefits and perks included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least two years of baking and plating desserts.
• Experience producing pastry items in a commercial kitchen from scratch.
• Proficient food safety & sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support chefs and team with daily pastry tasks.
• Bake and decorate pastry items for events, à la carte, and banquets.
• Incorporate seasonal ingredients into daily production.
• Continuously improve techniques and raise standards.
• Take pride in every dish and treat it as own.
• Support HOH/FOH teammates to foster a healthy, positive culture.

Ideal Qualifications and Attributes:

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• At least two years of baking and plating desserts
• Experience producing pastry items in a commercial kitchen from scratch
• Proficient food safety & sanitation knowledge

Availability:

• This is a seasonal position from October through January

Salary, Benefits, and Perks:

• Competitive Compensation: $20-$22/hr.
