Job summary

The Citrus Club in La Quinta, CA is seeking a friendly Dining Server for seasonal part-time service. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help ensure a welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, refilling condiments and completing prep tasks.
• Stay updated on current menu choices and specials, and inform guests of items.
• Handle bookings, direct guests to tables, present menus, suggest dishes and drinks.
• Deliver items, fulfill guest needs, offer desserts and drinks, replenish utensils.
• Prepare mixed drinks and pour wine tableside, manage payments and receipts.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks and fill in for absent staff as needed.
• Assist with special events and greet guests warmly; maintain grooming standards.
