Job summary

PGA West Tournament Clubhouse in La Quinta, CA is seeking a friendly Dining Server to ensure guests have a great dining experience. You will interact with guests, take orders, and assist in drinks and dessert service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Seasonal part-time position with flexible scheduling, requiring basic cooking knowledge and English fluency. Training provided to ensure high service standards at the golf club restaurant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables with napkins and utensils and ensure condiments are refilled.
• Stay updated on menu items, specials and deviations, and assist cooks with needs.
• Guest seating, direct to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, help with drinks.
• Deliver items, fulfill guest requests, offer desserts and beverages, clear courses.
• Prepare mixed drinks and pour wine Tableside.
• Handle revenues, receipts, and payments while maintaining accuracy.
• Assist with special events and cover for absent staff as needed.
