Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, refilling condiments, and performing prep tasks.
• Stay updated on current menu choices and deviations, and know if kitchen items are running out.
• Handle table bookings, direct customers to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist with drinks, and communicate needs to cooks.
• Maintain dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling needs, offering desserts/drinks, and replenishing utensils and glassware.
• Prepare mixed drinks for service at the table and correctly open and pour wine.
• Take revenues, issue receipts, accept payments, and give change.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Fill in for absent staff and assist with special events.
