Job summary

City of Indianola is hiring a seasonal Facility/Site Supervisor for Parks and Recreation. The role supports programming, facility operations, and guest services in a community known for its parks, trails, and events. Eligible candidates must be 16+, friendly, and able to work with minimal supervision.

The position runs January through April, 15–25 hours weekly, with a wage of $12.00–$14.00 per hour. Employment includes drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a mature, friendly, inviting and respectful manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of all fees, charges and related program/league rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to collect, record and handle money received.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all appropriate program, activity, or league equipment is delivered in a pleasant, courteous manner at all times.
• Charges guests in accordance with established prices/policies.
• Keeps accurate counts of inventory.
• Enforces all general park rules, and/or facility rules, in a courteous manner and refer all complaints to Recreation Coordinator.
• Keeps facility/site clean and in orderly condition. Removes trash, debris, etc. from area when needed.
