Job summary

The City of Indianola is seeking a part-time fitness instructor to design, plan, prepare and lead group exercise classes while creating a welcoming, inclusive environment. This position may require day, evening or weekend work and is non-union. Employment is contingent on a post-offer drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience, work experience, preferable in leading or instructing others.
• Current Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certification or equivalent - prior to starting.

• Design, plan, prepare and instruct assigned group exercise classes.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive class environment.
