The City of Pocatello – Parks & Recreation is seeking seasonal laborers to perform maintenance, groundskeeping, and basic construction tasks at City parks and facilities. The role requires manual labor, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to work in varied weather conditions.

Applicants should be 16 years of age or older, with a preference for a high school diploma or GED and a valid Idaho driver’s license. Shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends in a seasonal pay scale.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be 16 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience may be required.
• Idaho Drivers license is required.

Responsabilités

• Performs general maintenance and basic horticultural work for parks and facilities.
• Beautification tasks: clean-up, trash disposal, planting, pruning, weed control, and basic gardening.
• Drive a City vehicle to park sites and related tasks as assigned.
• Work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
