Job summary

City of Great Falls is seeking a maintenance worker to support park and facility upkeep, including cleaning, light repairs, and grounds maintenance. The role involves custodial duties, outdoor maintenance, and winter snow/ice removal, with a 40-hour work week and scheduled shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and ability to obtain a Montana driver's license. This is a non-supervisory, fully on-site position within the Parks Department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in parks, building and grounds maintenance desired.
• Candidate must be at least 18 years old and have a Montana driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Open, close, inspect, and clean public restrooms and park facilities.
• Check doors, windows, and access points for security.
• Perform general custodial cleaning and assist with maintenance tasks.
• Collect park and facility garbage and perform outdoor cleanup.
• Perform winter snow/ice removal and shovel walkways as needed.
• Operate maintenance equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
