State of Oklahoma’s Robbers Cave State Park is seeking a Seasonal Interpretive Guide to lead hikes, deliver educational programs, and assist with park operations. This part-time, seasonal role requires engagement with visitors and a willingness to work outdoors.

Candidates should be at least 16, able to carry items up to 50 lbs, and comfortable performing routine maintenance and guest interpretation in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to lead walking tours and navigate trails; carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead guided hikes or outdoor recreation activities.
• Deliver educational programming.
• Plan and lead arts and crafts activities.
• Maintain trails and park facilities.
• Perform live animal enclosure upkeep where applicable.
• Assist with routine groundskeeping and Nature Center operations.
• Greet visitors professionally and provide interpretation.
• Engage with guests through informed interpretation.
• Assist in event setup and takedown.
• Prepare daily opening and closing duties for the Nature Center.
• Submit required reports and visitor surveys.
