Who exactly are casual UPS Package Delivery Drivers?

They drive our familiar brown trucks, delivering packages of all sizes to our customers. They are friendly, physically active, and enjoy fast-paced work, being outdoors, and behind the wheel.

SHIFT YOUR SKILLS

To succeed in delivering packages to homes and businesses in your community and beyond, you should have:

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license—no CDL required (license type varies by state).
• Pass the DOT physical.
• Excellent customer service and driving skills.
• The legal right to work in the U.S.
• Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines and wearing the company-provided uniform.

Full-time UPS employees work 8-10 hours per day, with workdays varying (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday) based on business needs.

*This is a seasonal role. It’s a great starting point at UPS and could lead to a permanent position with more benefits. Permanent, full-time small package delivery drivers earn an average total compensation of $145,000 per year, including healthcare, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, and personal days.
