They drive our familiar brown trucks, delivering packages of all sizes to customers. They are friendly, physically active, and enjoy fast-paced, outdoor work behind the wheel.

SHIFT YOUR SKILLS

To succeed in delivering packages to homes and businesses, you need:

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license—no CDL required (license type varies by state).
• Pass the DOT physical.
• Excellent customer service and driving skills.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines and wearing the company-provided uniform.

Full-time UPS employees work 8-10 hours daily, with workdays varying (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday) based on business needs.

*This is a seasonal role. Seasonal jobs are a great starting point at UPS and may lead to permanent positions that offer additional benefits. Permanent, full-time small package delivery drivers earn an average total compensation of $145,000 per year, including healthcare, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, and option days.
