They drive our familiar brown trucks, delivering packages of all sizes to customers. They are friendly, physically active, and enjoy fast-paced work outdoors and behind the wheel.

SHIFT YOUR SKILLS

To succeed in delivering packages to homes and businesses, you should have:

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license—no CDL required (license type varies by state).
• Pass the DOT physical.
• Excellent customer service and driving skills.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines and wearing the company-provided uniform.

Full-time UPS employees typically work 8-10 hours per day, with workdays varying (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday) based on business needs.

*This is a seasonal role, which can be a great starting point at UPS. It may lead to a permanent role with additional benefits. Permanent full-time small package delivery drivers earn an average total compensation of $145,000 annually, including healthcare, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, and option days.
