REI Co-op in New York's dunes area seeks a Store Sales Specialist to help customers by sharing product knowledge, making recommendations, and processing transactions. You will keep the floor organized, support pickup, and stay ahead of trends with REI products and services.

Qualifications

Store retail experience preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Open to feedback and other viewpoints.
Uses business understanding, sound judgment to solve problems.
Sets effective goals and priorities.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions about products and memberships.
Maintain visual standards with store management and leads.
Engage in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services.
Support store pick-up, including receiving and processing products.
Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Additional duties as assigned.
