Job summary

Cornbread Hemp in Louisville, KY is seeking a Seasonal Order Packer/Picker to join our fast-growing team. You will accurately pick, pack, label, and document orders, helping ensure our CBD products are packed with care and quality.

This role offers $20 per hour and a Tuesday–Saturday schedule (9:00 am–5:10 pm) with a path to full-time for the right candidate. Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse/packing experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with shipping software and basic math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with reliable work ethic.
• HS diploma required; MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to meet fulfillment goals.
• Accurately pick, pack, label, and document orders.
• Restock inventory as needed.
• Keep ship stations and inventory areas clean.
• Ensure packing materials are prepared to support fulfillment.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor promptly.

Role: Seasonal Order Packer/Picker possible to go Full-time

Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday (9am-5:10pm)

As an Order Packer, you’ll play a critical role in our mission to deliver top-quality hemp products. As an essential member of our team, you will help ensure our quality products are packaged accurately, timely, and with care. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collaborate: Work with a team to achieve fulfillment goals and maintain smooth process flow.
• Ensure Accuracy: Review order details and packing requirements by accurately selecting and gathering products from inventory based on orders and then properly labeling packages, complete with necessary documentation.
• Inventory Management: assist in restocking efforts as needed.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the workplace organized and clean, including each ship station and inventory areas.
• Monitor Materials: Ensure materials like boxes, labels and other packing materials are prepared to support a stable order fulfillment environment.
• Report: Any discrepancies or issues must be reported to the supervisor promptly.
• Uphold Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure safe working conditions.

SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is advantageous.
• Skills: Familiarity with any shipping software is a plus. Basic math skills required.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Adaptability: Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Team Player: Positive energy and reliability for team cohesion.
• Preferred Knowledge: HS diploma and experience with MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word).

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable with repetitive arm motions.
• Able to regularly lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
