Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX is hiring a Seasonal OR Radiology Technologist for a temporary position through the end of 2026. The role involves operating X-ray equipment in the operating room, ensuring radiation safety, and delivering high-quality imaging for ortho and spine procedures.

Two to five years of surgical radiology experience and ARRT along with BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT certificate.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two to five years’ experience specific to surgical radiological exam.
• Ortho and Spine experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates X-ray equipment, C-ARMS and prepares patient’s room, equipment, and supplies.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
• Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
• Maintains accurate QC logs and service records.
• Performs highest quality imaging in line with prescribed examinations.
