JCPenney in Grand Rapids is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to support early-morning store operations and help create an outstanding customer experience.

You will perform pricing and signing, restock the floor, unload merchandise, keep the backroom organized, assist with online order pickups, and learn merchandising standards through teamwork.

This seasonal role offers an opportunity for extension based on performance and store needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail environments.
• Ability to execute pricing and signage tasks accurately.
• Experience replenishing and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
• Ability to unload shipments and manage backroom stock.
• Familiarity with online order pickup processes and store merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while navigating a fast-paced store.
• Execute pricing changes and signage across merchandise accurately and timely.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to ensure availability and sizes for customers.
• Receive and unload incoming merchandise and prepare items for backroom storage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized backroom and stock areas.
• Support online order pickup processes and fulfill customer requests.
• Assist with merchandising plan execution and maintain store standards.
• Participate in training and learning activities to improve product knowledge.
