Job summary

UPS Hermiston, OR is seeking a seasonal warehouse supervisor to lead safety, production and attendance in a fast-paced facility. You will supervise, train, and develop teams while maintaining high standards for accuracy, customer service and operational efficiency.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching, and collaboration across departments, with a focus on safety and continual improvement. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and prior management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours up to 5 days/week.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and proactive communication.
• Implements employee development plans as required to ensure growth of department personnel.
• Ensures all department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training and regular evaluations.
