Job summary

Crate and Barrel in Plano, TX is seeking Seasonal Operations Associates to support stockroom organization, product displays, curbside orders, and customer service. You’ll help ensure shelves are stocked, promotions are visible, and orders are fulfilled accurately with teamwork and a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates have customer service or retail experience, strong communication, and weekend availability through the holiday season.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds; teamwork for heavier items.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and surrounding Christmas.
• Part-Time roles require availability on two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks and maintain an organized stockroom.
• Assist leadership with stocking product and displays on the sales floor.
• Process incoming/outgoing packages and curbside orders; fulfill ship-from-store orders.
• Support store sales goals and meet service standards set by leadership.
• Drive sales through customer engagement and product knowledge.
• Lead by example and help maintain store profitability and operations.
• Promote promotions, brand initiatives, and store services to customers.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention, security, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, efficient, and respectful work.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Operations Associate...

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.

• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.

• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner.

• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team.

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.

• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.

• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.

• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.

• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
