Responsibilities

• Picks products from designated locations according to order details and system instructions.
• Verifies product numbers and order information to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
• Packs and prepares customer orders for shipment using appropriate packaging materials.
• Labels packages accurately and prepares completed orders for carrier pickup.
• Sorts and organizes outgoing orders to support timely dispatch.
• Inspects products and packaging for damage and reports issues to the supervisor.
• Maintains clean, organized, and safe work areas and stations.
• Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a safe warehouse environment.
• Supports overtime, weekend work, and extended hours as needed during peak season.

Job Summary

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing daily warehouse activities focused on order picking, packing, and shipping during peak seasonal operations. This role supports increased order volume by accurately picking products, preparing customer orders, packaging items, and preparing shipments for timely dispatch.

Working closely with the Operations team, the Seasonal Warehouse Associate helps maintain order accuracy, protect product quality, and meet daily shipping and fulfillment deadlines while following established safety and operational procedures.

Essential Job Functions

• Reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and follows daily work assignments, order priorities, and shipping deadlines.
• Picks products from designated warehouse locations according to order details, pick lists, or system-generated instructions.
• Verifies product numbers, quantities, and order information to ensure accuracy and minimize picking errors.
• Packs and prepares customer orders for shipment using appropriate packaging materials and established packing procedures.
• Labels packages accurately and prepares completed orders for carrier pickup and shipment.
• Sorts, stages, and organizes outgoing orders in designated shipping areas to support efficient order processing and timely dispatch.
• Inspects products and packaging for damage, defects, or discrepancies and reports any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assists with replenishing picking locations, organizing inventory, and maintaining adequate supplies of packing materials as needed.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, including picking, packing, and shipping stations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties at the end of each shift to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules, shift times, and hours based on business needs and seasonal demand.
• Accommodates schedule adjustments and supports overtime, weekend work, and extended hours as needed during peak season, in accordance with applicable law.
