Bailey Nurseries, Inc. is seeking a Nursery Worker – Seasonal in Dayton, OR to perform a variety of production and harvesting tasks in open fields and controlled structures. The role requires handling plants, equipment operation, and adherence to safety standards.

The job includes a starting pay of $17.25 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours per week, bi-weekly pay, and PPE provided. Regular shifts are weekdays with potential longer hours during peak season.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 months of wholesale nursery experience performing manual and machine tasks.
• Ability to understand verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to recognize nursery plant species and varieties.
• Ability to determine grades and quantities for order fulfillment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Planting, pruning, irrigating, fertilizing, weeding, grafting, and preparing plants for transplanting.
• Labeling, packing, and loading plants for shipment.
• Operate tools and machinery such as tractors, forklifts, skid steers, and loaders.
• Assist with irrigation, inventory, quality control, and maintenance of nursery equipment.
• Support production areas in open fields and controlled structures.
