Job summary

The Guitar Center Company is seeking a Seasonal Support associate to greet customers, identify needs, match products, and close sales in our California store. You will learn GC products and participate in the sales process while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic music retail environment.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, showcasing product knowledge, assisting customers, and supporting store readiness, inventory, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service.
• High attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Musical Instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reach sales targets on services.
• Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers.
• Assist customers and guide them through the sales process.
• Continual learning through onboarding, certification, and continuing education process.
• Assist with execution of all tasks to ensure the store is ready to conduct business and service customers.
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and replenish displays as needed.
• Clienteling/build relationships with customers to fulfill future service needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
