Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of MRI experience.
• Current Florida General Radiographer license.
• ARRT registry for Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance (MR).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Set up exam rooms and prepare patients for imaging.
• Document patient care and maintain charting procedures.
• Follow MRI safety principles per facility policies and procedures.
• Assist students or new staff as needed and provide guidance.
• Perform well in emergency situations.
