Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum two years MRI experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Current Florida General Radiographer license.
• ARRT registry for Radiography and Magnetic Resonance imaging.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure quality diagnostic images.
• Set up exam rooms and prep patients for procedures.
• Document all patient care activities according to policy.
• Maintain MRI safety and follow facility policies.
• Assist as a resource to students or junior staff.
