Job summary

The Edwin, Carter & Canary in Breckenridge is seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Server to deliver warm, polished service that makes guests feel seen and cared for. You will guide guests through the menu with confidence and anticipate details that turn a dining moment into a memory.

Seasonal employment runs November 9, 2026 to April 30, 2027 with both full-time and part-time opportunities. A strong knowledge of our menu, energy, and professional presence are valued for this mountain hospitality

Qualifications

• Education/Formal Training: High school education or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 months or longer in similar position.
• Knowledge/Skills: Customer service principles, food server function, cash handling, English fluency, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
• Remains attentive to the customers throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards as established by the restaurant at all times.
• Completes all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing sidework as instructed.
• Memorizes menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintains cleanliness standards in restaurant, waitstation and kitchen service area.
• Controls allocated guest checks and documents information as orders are taken.
• Receives proper payment and ensures accuracy of guest checks.
• Attends all pre-meal and departmental meetings and participates in briefings.
• Responds to customer inquiries and comments with timely, knowledgeable information.
• Presents a clean and professional appearance and maintains a friendly demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
