Job summary

The Grand Teton Lodge Company in Jackson, WY is seeking a summer seasonal dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine, wash pots and pans, and support the food and beverage operation.

You will maintain a neat, clean work area, follow HACCP and Serv Safe guidelines, and work with supervision to meet guest expectations. Housing and meals perks apply; starting wage $17.75-$18.88 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work long hours, often under pressure.
• HACCP food safety knowledge required.
• Prior stewarding or dishwashing experience preferred.
• Work mostly indoors with some outdoor events.
• Knowledge of kitchen chemicals and MSDS beneficial.
• Ability to operate a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Commitment to superior guest service and quality standards.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of dish room, sinks, shelves, floors, and trash areas.
• Carry out cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Stock towels, soaps, and sanitizers at hand wash stations.
• Sweep and mop floors as needed to keep area spotless.
• Empty garbage and manage disposal area daily.
• Stock and organize stations with plates, glasses, silverware and cookware.
• Demonstrate setup of a 3-compartment sink.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Maintain janitorial storage and clean items storage.
• Clean kitchen grease filters and broiler traps as required.
• Dispose garbage into designated dumpster areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
