Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company’s Big Bear Mountain Resort is seeking a seasonal facilities and custodial worker. You will perform routine and preventative building maintenance, custodial services, trash pickup, and snow path clearing to keep all areas safe and welcoming. Starting wage is $19.00 to $22.80 per hour, depending on experience.

Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends. This on-site role offers perks such as staff passes, discounts, and employee events at three Southern California

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Basic knowledge of and/or training in housekeeping services.
• Ability to pass the Company certification to operate equipment.
• Able to read, understand, and comply with safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including second and third shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides inside and outside assistance, performing routine and preventative building maintenance, custodial services, picking up trash, and ensuring buildings are secure.
• Clears snow covered paths and maintains safe walkways.
• Working conditions may include varied shifts and outdoor exposure.
