Job summary

Crystal Mountain, the Pacific Northwest’s premier destination for skiers and adventurers, is seeking a Grounds & Facilities Attendant for seasonal work on the mountain. You will help maintain base areas and assist with outdoor spaces in a dynamic alpine environment.

Responsibilities include snow removal, facility upkeep, and ensuring a clean, safe guest experience while providing friendly service during winter operations. Pay ranges from $24 to $26 per hour, DOE, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must ski or snowboard at an intermediate ability.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor like shoveling snow for extended periods.
• Ability to operate snow removal equipment like snow blowers.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Customer service skills to interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including during snowstorms, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• General Lodge Maintenance: moving patio furniture and fire pits to various locations.
• Maintaining the appearance of outdoor spaces like decks, patios, walkways.
• Pickup garbage and ensure proper disposal.
• Snow removal operations: clearing snow from walkways, steps, and parking areas.
• Operating snow blowers to remove larger amounts of snow.
• Spreading ice melt on slippery surfaces.
• Monitoring weather conditions and preparing for snowstorms.
• Safety and compliance: following safety protocols for snow removal equipment.
• Reporting hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
