Vail Resorts in Colorado is seeking cooks for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Starting wage ranges from $21.25 to $26.57 per hour, with full-time and part-time hours available.

The Cook role supports the kitchen team, assists the Chef, and maintains high food quality and safety to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Housing is available in some cases, and employment emphasizes teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant kitchen experience; supervisory kitchen experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand the use and operation of kitchen equipment and train other kitchen staff.
• Adhere to standards for facility and food preparation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu items and ingredients.
• Prep ingredients and maintain par levels to minimize waste.
• Maintain inventory using FIFO and monitor food waste.
