Vail Resorts in Colorado is now hiring for the winter season 2026/27, seeking Cooks among other roles. Cooks will support the kitchen team, maintain food quality and safety, and contribute to a memorable guest experience in a fast-paced alpine setting.

Starting wage ranges from $22.00 to $29.22 per hour, with both full-time and part-time shifts and housing availability. The company offers benefits, training, and legendary employee perks like passes, discounts, and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Culinary degree or certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant kitchen experience; supervisory kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Understand the use and operation of kitchen equipment and train other staff.
• Adhere to standards for food preparation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu items and ingredients.
• Prep ingredients and maintain par levels to minimize waste.
• Maintain inventory using FIFO and monitor food waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
