Job summary

Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking Athletic Coaches to lead our middle school sports teams for the 2026/2027 school year at EVMS and Flood Brook School. Coaching opportunities cover fall, winter and spring seasons, serving students of all abilities across both campuses.

Coaches supervise practices and games, teach fundamentals, communicate with staff and parents, and travel by bus to away games. Scheduling varies by sport and season, with supervision by the Principal.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth athletes is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise practices and games for athletes of various abilities and experience levels.
• Teach the fundamentals of your sport.
• Communicate with school personnel and parents/guardians.
• Bus travel to away games is required.
• Coaching schedule and location will vary by sport.
• Other responsibilities as required to complete the job.
• Position reports to the applicable school's Athletic Director and is supervised by the Principal.
