Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring Merchandisers in Metairie, LA. You will help maximize inventory, assist online orders, and support curbside pick-up and delivery. The role emphasizes customer interaction, product knowledge, and compliant operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

We value flexibility to cover evenings and weekends, a high school diploma, and 1–3 years of retail experience. Training is provided to build wine, beer, and spirits knowledge and to support career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years in retail is a plus; 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, process freight, organize stock, build displays and end caps.
• Stock and stock merchandise for curbside and in-store pickup; assist with deliveries if needed.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to improve product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of ads, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Keep store safe and clean; ensure compliance with alcohol sale laws.
• Complete cross-functional duties and other tasks as needed.
• Load and deliver orders safely when required by the role.
