Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc. is hiring seasonal team members to support Grocery, Guest Service, Early Morning Production, Produce, and department counters like Deli, Bakery, and Meat & Seafood.

You will engage with guests, help plan meals, merchandise, weigh and scan items, and assist across departments to ensure a hospitable shopping experience. Applicants should be at least 16 years old (18 for Deli, Bakery, Produce) and may have prior retail or hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and engage with guests to understand needs and meals.
• Merchandise and stock products and assist guests across departments.
• Weigh and scan products, handle cash, and provide change when appropriate.
• Assist with general housekeeping and station upkeep throughout the store.
• Slice and prepare deli, bakery, or meat/seafood items while maintaining quality levels.
• Present a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
