Overview

The Seasonal Material Handler is responsible for accurately loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include sorting according to purchase order (PO) and SKU, using RF guns to locate and select merchandise for shipment to stores, scanning boxes, opening cases, and placing them on the correct conveyor for sorting. The role also involves packing customer orders, applying shipping labels, and inducting apparel and footwear onto tilt trays for shipment to stores. Must be 18 years or older to apply.

This Seasonal position lasts for 90 days with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

$14.94 / hour

Hours

• Full-time / Part-time available
• 1st Shift
• Weekend Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanning devices accurately.
• Process orders efficiently by packing merchandise for shipment.
• Unload and load merchandise for processing and shipment.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Handle Return To Vendor, returned, and liquidation items as per procedures.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Read, write, perform business-related mathematics, and analyze data as needed.
• Report problems to supervisors or HR.
• Follow daily procedures and training protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Demands: Must meet physical requirements to perform essential functions, including standing, vision abilities, communication, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred; 6 months warehouse experience preferred; proficiency in English required for safety and communication.

• Bi-weekly pay of $14.94/hour with wage increases at 90 days, 6, 12, and 18 months, totaling up to $1.04/hr increase.
