Job summary

Samtec in New Albany, Indiana is seeking a Seasonal Manufacturing Production Operator for a 5- to 6-month assignment. You will assemble components, set up and operate machinery, and perform soldering and quality inspections on a fast-paced production line.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring tools, meeting productivity goals, and maintaining a clean workspace. Primary shifts are 1st and 3rd; training provided; lifting up to 50 pounds; prior production experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings to build to specifications.
• Perform basic math calculations and interpret measurements for quality checks.
• Operate and maintain machinery and soldering processes with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow safety/compliance standards.
• Interpret blueprints and build to specs.
