Job summary

Samtec, Inc. in New Albany, Indiana, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for third shift (6PM-6AM) to service and maintain all machines in the connector manufacturing and hand fill departments.

You will repair automated equipment, read blueprints and schematics, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems while upholding safety, quality, and cost controls. Strong independence and good communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years experience in a technician or maintenance role preferred.
• Experience with automated machines, machining or electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of die mechanics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all machines in connector manufacturing and hand fill departments.
• Work third shift (6PM-6AM) on Sunday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Friday.
• Ensure safety, quality, service and cost objectives.
