Job Summary

This is a seasonal position working intermittently on an as-needed basis. There may be opportunities to transition into a full-time role in the future. The successful applicant will assist the County Highway Department with various road projects throughout the season.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Perform installation, repair, and maintenance activities on county roadways and ditches.
2. Work safely and responsibly in all weather conditions.
3. Protect and enhance the current roadway infrastructure within our county.
4. Serve constituents courteously, aligning with our core values.

Qualifications and Skills

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Possess or be able to obtain a Class A license at the time of hire.
3. CDL license required on the first day of employment.
4. Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the role.
