PREIT in Scranton, PA is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to support the Operations Manager with safety plans, preventative maintenance, and repairs across mall facilities. The role involves painting, plumbing, lighting, and debris removal, with opportunities to assist in events and decor setup.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years in building maintenance, and a valid driver's license; tech school or OSHA training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read plans and schematic drawings.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• OSHA 10-Hour training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Paint, drywall, parking lots, lighting, plumbing, and roof tasks.
• Assist with events setup and mall décor installation.
• Support safety policies and incident response.
• Assist with snow removal if needed.
