Job summary

Northgate Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Technician I (Age 18+) for seasonal, full-time or part-time work to help maintain our Camp-Resort facilities, structures and utilities, ensuring guest spaces remain safe and welcoming.

Under close supervision you will perform entry-level maintenance across carpentry, drywall, painting, basic electrical and plumbing tasks, respond to requests promptly, and assist in planning projects from start to finish while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of consistent and professional work experience in a variety of trades.
• Trade certifications and licenses are highly desired

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Camp-Resort’s property, facilities, and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly
• Assist in planning and executing projects from start to finish
• Troubleshoot and perform entry-level duties in basic repair/maintenance (doorknobs/locks/gates)
• Carpentry, drywall and painting of communal areas and exterior walls
• Electrical tasks (lamps, switches, outlets, guestroom items)
• Plumbing (repairing toilets/sinks/bathtubs/exterior drains)
