Job summary

Northern Children’s Services is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Maintenance Technician to support building repairs, grounds upkeep, and preventive maintenance at our Philadelphia campus. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will handle plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and assist in keeping equipment and spaces safe for staff and residents.

This role requires hands-on skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a team, with occasional after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Vo-tech or Tech school certificate preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in building equipment maintenance, construction, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance repairs on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and related systems.
• Maintain grounds and assist in preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
• Respond to work orders and participate in the on-call rotation as required.
