Grand Lake Casino is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Worker to maintain outdoor grounds, including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and routine upkeep to keep exterior areas attractive during the growing season.
This role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with lawn care and general construction labor. The individual must pass a pre-employment drug screening and be at least 18 years old to work in a casino environment.
The Seasonal Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the organization's outdoor grounds. This position performs routine lawn maintenance, landscaping, and general groundskeeping duties to ensure all exterior areas remain attractive and well-maintained throughout the growing season.
An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D. All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess the physical stamina and capability to perform various tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), standing for extended periods, and engaging in physically demanding activities to ensure the effective upkeep of the facility. Must be able to reach, push and pull with hands and arms, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol-free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, noise, bright flashing lights.
Working conditions include maintaining both interior and exterior areas of the Casino, necessitating adaptability to outdoor working conditions, including exposure to varying weather elements, as part of the comprehensive efforts to ensure the facility's overall upkeep.
