Job summary

Puyallup Tribe is seeking a Casual Labor Maintenance to support the Grandview Early Learning Center and related GELC activities. This seasonal, part-time position focuses on custodial and general maintenance tasks to ensure safe, clean facilities for children.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, cleaning indoors and outdoors, grounds upkeep, and waste handling. A WA driver’s license and background check are required, with eligibility for seasonal employment ending September 2026.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of basic grounds-keeping, landscaping, and carpentry.
• Must pass criminal background check and have a valid WA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building repairs and maintenance.
• Clean windows inside and outside the building.
• Daily maintenance of GELC property and restocking supplies.
• Maintain and clean outdoor areas including playgrounds and parking areas.
• Dispose of trash and operate lawn equipment (mowers, tractors).
• Clean and disinfect surfaces; assist in vehicle maintenance.
