Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York seeks a Sales Planning Analyst to support temporary sales planning, forecasting and budgeting activities. The role requires strong Excel and Power Query skills to drive accurate reporting and insights.

You will partner with merchandising and sales teams to project seasonal budgets, analyze performance, and share actionable trends with leadership. This is a fast-paced, data-driven environment for a luxury fashion client.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills with Power Query experience.
• Experience in sales reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Background in retail, wholesale, or merchandise planning is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce weekly and monthly sales performance reports against targets and prior year.
• Track events impacting sales and traffic, such as spikes and renovations.
• Share trends with teams and leadership via regular updates with qualitative insights.
• Maintain Power Query historical sales databases feeding reporting.
• Collaborate with Merchandising to set seasonal wholesale budgets and track vs targets.
• Prepare monthly wholesale projections in partnership with Prada Sales Planning and Controlling.
• Create monthly retail and wholesale market share recaps.
• Maintain wholesale historical budget databases.
• Manage Outlet monthly store targets end-to-end: proposals, communications, submissions, tracking.
• Support Outlet Operations with historical sales data as needed.
• Share monthly store target results with HR for incentive/payout calculations.
