Neiman Marcus is seeking a Restaurant Bartender to welcome guests and provide high‑quality beverage service in a fast‑paced luxury dining environment. You will use your knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits to explain options and make recommendations while maintaining professionalism and accuracy with the POS system.

Key duties include serving customers graciously, assisting with menu information, supporting bar operations, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Motivated and results-driven.
• Knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings.
• Thorough knowledge of food and culinary terminology.
• Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Serves and interacts with customers in a professional and gracious manner.
• Provides detailed information about menu items using knowledge of food and terminology.
• Supports smooth staff delivery of bar items through POS / ticket systems.
• Leverages knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including procedures.
• Participates in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions and uses the POS system.
• Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation.”
• Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs).
• Maintains hygiene standards including clean uniform and hair/nails.
