The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility seeks a responsible, dedicated Seasonal Maintenance Technician at our Service Center, 9115 NE Airport Way Portland, OR 97220. The technician performs car repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policies, focusing on customer needs and quality standards.

This seasonal role lasts up to 180 days from May to October 2025, with a 13-week break required before re-hiring. The pay is $20/hour.

Schedules Available

• Sunday to Thursday: 1:30pm-10:00pm (or alternative schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00am-6:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance inspections (tires, brakes, fluids)
• Conduct preventive maintenance (oil change, tire rotation)
• Repair and replace tires
• Replace wearable parts (bulbs, wipers)
• Document repairs accurately
• Maintain inventory and safety standards
• Ensure vehicle safety and reliability
• Process fleet updates and buy backs as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Previous lube & tire tech experience
• Valid driver’s license with minimal violations
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Own standard hand tools
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and ongoing testing

Additional Details

Position is entry-level, full-time, in management and manufacturing industries. Employment is seasonal, with a maximum of 6 months per season and required break periods.
