Job summary

The Wauwinet’s TOPPER'S restaurant on Nantucket Bay seeks a seasonal line cook for the 2027 spring-summer period. This full-time position offers hourly compensation of USD 22 with a focus on local seafood and seasonal menus.

Responsibilities include prep, coordinating with stations, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness per Health Department standards, and closing duties. Requirements: minimum 2 years in a similar role; team-oriented, able to work under pressure.

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Start prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day
• Organize all of the various prep items needed from different areas to ensure that all items are in place and ready for service
• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guide
• Inform the Sous Chef of any shortages before the item runs out
• Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and Hotel requirements
• Breakdown work station and complete closing duties
• Wrap, cover, label and date all items being put away.
