Job summary

Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana is seeking Lift Operators for the upcoming winter season. The role entails safe loading and unloading of Members, guests and employees on chair lifts, with a focus on exceptional guest service and strict safety practices.

Seasonal employment runs November 30 through April 12, with a starting wage of $22/hour plus DOE. Candidates must be able to ski at an intermediate level and work outside in challenging weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; preseason training available.
• Ability to ski at an intermediate level.
• Strong guest service and hospitality orientation.
• Commitment to safety procedures and security guidelines.
• Willingness to work outside in cold/snow conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient loading, transporting, and unloading of Members, guests, and employees.
• Maintain loading areas, ramps, and equipment per standards.
• Demonstrate courteous, professional interaction with Members and guests.
• Follow safety procedures; respond to emergencies and assist with evacuations when needed.
• Operate lift equipment safely and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward staff and guests.
