Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners is seeking a Lift Operations Supervisor for the Willamette Pass area in Oregon. This seasonal role oversees day-to-day mountain lift operations, leads a team of lift operators, and promotes safe, reliable service for guests throughout the season.

You will conduct lift checks, ensure OSHA/ANSI/USFS compliance, organize SOPs, and mentor teammates in safety and guest service. The position requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work in varying

Qualifications

• Completion of the WPR Qualified Climber program prior to their first day.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A valid, current, unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• At least one year of lift operations experience is required.
• At least one year of experience in a leadership or team-building role is preferred.
• Must be available to work at least 4 days per week, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the mountain lifts in coordination with the department management team.
• Effectively supervise, motivate, and coach a team of lift operators and operators in charge.
• Complete daily rotational lift checks and monitor performance.
• Ensure OSHA/ANSI/USFS compliance and requirements for all stations.
• Spearhead the organization of SOPs, logs, reports, and policies.
• Assist skiers and snowboarders in safely loading and unloading ski lifts.
• Monitor and operate lift controls for smooth start/stop operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report issues to management.
• Maintain lift ramps and snow for safe traffic flow.
• Work in adverse weather conditions.
