The position supports varied shifts on weekdays and weekends, requiring current Red Cross Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor certifications plus swim coaching/teaching experience. Training sessions are mandatory annually.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
• At least one year of lifeguard experience.
• Maintain a current Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification or equivalent.
• At least one year of swim coaching or teaching experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead private swim lessons and small group lessons.
• Prevents injury by surveillance and enforcing pool rules.
• Act as part of the rescue team during emergencies.
• Attend at least one in-service training per year.
