Job summary

A seasonal aquatic staffing firm is seeking Lifeguards to maintain a safe pool environment. Responsibilities include monitoring safety, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies. Candidates must hold a valid Lifeguard certification and be physically able to perform rescues. The position offers flexible scheduling, company-sponsored training, and opportunities for first job experience. Weekend and holiday availability during the summer season is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent), CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid required.
• Ability to remain alert and continuously monitor the pool area.
• Physically able to perform rescues, assist distressed individuals (up to 85+ lbs), swim and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure patron safety and prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe swimming environment.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, including water rescues.
