Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of college or technical school or at least one year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors session and informs public about hearings.
• Schedules teleconferences and moderates testimony.
• Distributes materials to participants.
• Troubleshoots teleconference equipment.
• Answers calls and questions from constituents.
• Researches topics related to statutes and legislative actions.
• Provides resources and contact information.
• Publishes non-partisan press releases.
• Produces newsletters about legislative activity.
• Supports legislators in community outreach.
• Maintains office equipment and budget records.
• Prepares annual inventory.
